Logan County is updating its mitigation plan. A survey is being conducted as part of the planning process. Results from the survey will be used to help identify mitigation strategies in the plan update.

Reading Month Update
The first graders are celebrating being 100 days smarter!
The Wrestling Triangular from Ashley tonight will be on the NFHS Network. Matches start at 5:30 pm.

The V GBB and V,JV BBB games vs Barnes County North have been cancelled for tonight. BCN is not willing to travel due to weather and road conditions. No make up dates have been set at this point.
JH BBB vs Linton/HMB will be played in the main gym at 4:00 pm today.
The 7th grade math students used proportions and scale factors to create a scale model of the solar system. For distance from the sun, we used the scale: 1 meter = 28,000,000 miles. For the diameter of the planets, we used the scale: 1 cm = 1500 miles.

The 1st graders were trying to spread kindness by surprising someone with these awesome rocks they painted. They each chose their own message to put on their rocks. We hope these rocks brought joy to those who received them!
The V,JV GBB games @ Medina/Pingree/Buchanan scheduled for February 1 have been cancelled. This was a non-district game and M/P/B had to reschedule a District 6 Game on that date.
No Junior High Boys' Basketball game tonight. Game is rescheduled for Friday, January 21 at 4 pm in the CC. Junior High players from Napoleon will have practice tonight in the CC after school.
The Girls Basketball game vs Kidder County tonight has been postponed due to weather conditions around Steele. The game has been rescheduled.
