Good morning! This is a message from Mrs. Leier: All library books are due this week. Please help your child remember to bring them back to school on their checkout day or as soon as possible! The summer library calendar was sent home yesterday. Take a look at it to see which days you can come in and get some new books for summer reading! 📚☀️

Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, May 1st, 3rd St. from Ave E to Ave G will be closed so they can install the new water main. All parking will have to be on the south side or east side of the school. Buses will continue to run on the east side of the school. Students can be dropped off and picked up by the gym doors, before and after school. During the school day, you will still need to park on the south or east side of the school, but you can walk on the grass next to the school and still come through the main entrance. We do need to stay off the sidewalk, so please walk on the grass. When things change, we will send out a new notification.

Dustin gave the first graders a lesson on saving vs. spending money and each one had a piggy bank to paint. These piggy banks have been at the Credit Union and Stock Growers Bank for a couple weeks or so, but will be coming back to school soon. If you haven't seen them yet, stop by the banks and vote for your favoite one(s). Once we get the piggy banks back, the kids will count their money and get to keep the money to start saving for someone they really want. Thanks
