It was a busy, exciting spring in the first grade classroom. They learned about the life cycles of butterflies and chicks. They got to see chicks hatch and hold them. They also had their own caterpillar to take care of, then helped release them.

Something top secret went on at school today! We had some very confused kids wondering why all the teachers were dressed in all black. The staff had fun being secret agents all day.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! 🌟 Thank you to all the teachers and staff at our school—you make a difference every single day in the lives of our students, and we appreciate everything you do. Today, Mrs. Weigel set out blank thank-you cards at lunch, and students had the chance to write notes of appreciation to any staff member. It’s a great week to celebrate the amazing people who make our school special!

This afternoon our students celebrated finishing up a week of NWEA testing! They worked hard and earned a fun afternoon of free time. We kicked back and watched The One and Only Ivan with snacks while teachers got some work time in their classrooms. Happy Friday, everyone! – Mrs. Weigel

This morning was an exciting one! Our preschool students spent time in the kindergarten classroom, getting a glimpse of what school will be like next year. They had fun exploring and joining in on some activities. We can’t wait to welcome them as kindergarteners in August!
