For the past few weeks, this group of students has spent time creating items to honor the men and women in uniform. We created a canvas full of quotes for a special community member that exemplifies our feelings about her sacrifices for our country. I am immensely proud of their talent and creativity. The Region 3 Volleyball Tournament scheduled for Thursday, November 10 is postponed until Friday, November 11. The 3rd place game will start at 2:00 pm with the Championship game to follow.

First Grade Star Student of the Week
A few of our POD seniors were eligible to vote for the first time today!! They were so excited to get to participate in our government!
Chris in the classroom is going to be here this week!! We are still on for Wednesday night at 6:30 for our family night with Chris Scheufele. Come out and enjoy his talk. If you are wondering if this is worth it.... our staff listened to him last year for an hour and many of us walked out of the classroom and said, "Wow I wish every parent could hear this!" Check out his videos on his website. Also bring your kids, older kids are more than welcome to join the entertainment with Chris and our FCCLA chapter is providing entertainment for younger kids if you are worried about them sitting for an hour. We are very excited about this event and hope you all come and join the fun!
