Kindness Rocks in 4th Grade!

Possessive Party in Grade 6

Today I (Mrs Whitney Weigel) got to fill in for Mrs Cindy Weigel during guidance time! It was so fun to be back in the Kindergarten classroom and talk about feelings. We talked about all the different types of feelings and if they are able to identify when they have certain feelings.
I also was able to spend time with the 6th graders today and talk about stress. We went over how to identify when you are feeling stressed also how to know when someone else is stressed. They filled out this sheet “When I feel stressed” and were encouraged to talk with their parents or trusted adult tonight about when they feel stressed and how to deal with their stress. I also attached a sheet for parents on having a growth mindset and how to help your child develop one. Parents please ask them about this tonight and go through their sheet with them! It’s so important to build that relationship with your child. Have a great Wednesday!

Do not forget to disguise your turkey for a chance to win a pie. Please submit your disguised turkey to your teacher by Friday.
